Hello Everyone JAWANDA’s FUNDRAISER: The fundraiser and birthday celebration for Jawanda was an absolute success! The event was held at The Marmon Grand on Sunday, March 22nd. It was a joy to see so many steppers in support of Jawanda. For those of you unaware of the reasoning for the event, Jawanda suffered a devastating brain injury after an automobile accident. Although she is doing better, she is going to need financial assistance to offset the enormous expenses related to her illness and long term recovery. Foundation is hosting a School Supply Drive. Tickets are $10.00
in advance, $15.00 at the door. A portion of the
proceeds will be used to purchase supplies for the children of breast
cancer survivors. We would truly appreciate any supplies that you donate. The donated
supplies will be given to the children of Breast Cancer survivors. If you know of a
breast cancer survivor who has children please email us with their

STAND AGAINST CANCER PROGRAM. Are you or someone you know uninsured or
underinsured? Have you been diagnosed with cancer (of any kind)? The SAC
Program provides clinical breast exams, pap smears, mammograms and other
services at NO COST.

CELEBRATING
OUR HERITAGE EVENT , held February 19–22, 2009 in Atlanta, GA was an absolute success! I was honored to
be given The Good Deeds International Civic Leadership Award on behalf
of my work with the Foundation. The event was spectacular! In addition
to the events & the activities that took place, we had the pleasure of
meeting several people from Atlanta, Cleveland, North Carolina, Alabama,
LA, Oakland, Virginia, Seattle, and Las Vegas. A very special thank you to all of
you who supported the Foundation by purchasing one of our pink items. We
truly appreciate your support.
